Peshawar Zoo

Peshawar Zoo was established to  for promoting conservation education and research in biological social sciences; and to provide healthy recreation and entertainment opportunities to the inhabitants of Peshawar in particular and visitors from other areas in general. Total Cost of the project is 2104.184 million.

Predators: African Lion, black bear, common leopard, tiger, Asiatic wolf, Jackal, civet cat, stripped hyena

Mammals: Spotted deer, grey goral, mouflon sheep, Zebra, blue bull, black buck, urial, Chinkara Hog deer, Bactrian Camel, fellow deer, Rhesus monkey, llama, Wallaby, sambar deer, Giraffe, Markhor, Arabian Oryx

Birds: Ostrich, black shoulder peafowl, blue peafowl, Demoiselle crane, common crane, ring necked pheasant, silver pheasant, golden pheasant, lady Amherst pheasant, vulture,pelican, Russian buck, common duck, rosella red parrot, white cocktail, budgerigar parrot,cockatoo parrot, blue and gold macaw, eclectus parrot, African black crane, scarlet macaw,peregrine falcon.
