Ayubia National Park

Location: District Abbottabad.
Area: 3375 ha.
Date of Declaration: 17-01-1984
Dungagali-Ayubia (Pipeline track) is one of the most fascinating and popular tracks among the visitors. Most temperate forest and two highest peaks of Merranjani and Muksh puri, that creates interest for the tourists. Some facilities for tourists are available i-e Sun/Rain shelters, Benches & Tables, Souvenir shop, track, Tuck shop, Green lawn etc:
Wildlife hot spot: Miranjani, Mushkpuri Top and Pipeline track
Archeological sites: Insignia in Dungagali-Ayubia Pipeline track and Moto Tunnel in Ayubia National Park.
Flora: Deodar (Cedrus deodara), bluepine (Pinus wallichiana), yew (Taxus wallichiana), Fir (Abies pindrow), Spruce(Picea simithiana), horse chestnut (Aesculus indica) and oak (Quercus).
Fauna: Common leopard(Panthera pardus),Rhesus monkey(Macaca mulatta), Yellow throated marten(Martes flavigula), Kashmir hill fox(Vulpes vulpes griffithi).

Boundaries: North Namli Maira and Phalkot Reserved Forests
South Bakot Compartment 6, Kuzagali Location forests, Darwaza Reserved compartment 3(ii) and Khanespur location forests.
East Birot Reserved Forest and Lahur village
West Bagh Reserve Compartment No.10, Kalabagh- Nathiagali Location, Kundla and Tohidabad
Legal status: Reserved Forest of Galiat
Ecological zone: Moist temperate, sub-tropical pine forests and alpine meadows.
